👑 What is a Krewe?
A Krewe (pronounced “crew”) is the heart and soul of Mardi Gras! These are social organizations that plan and host Mardi Gras events — including parades and balls. Each Krewe has its own unique personality, traditions, and themes. Joining a Krewe means becoming part of a close-knit community that loves to celebrate, create, and give back.

🎉 What is a Mardi Gras Court?
The Mardi Gras Court is the shining centerpiece of the ball! Each year, the Krewe selects individuals to represent royalty — typically including a King, Queen, Dukes, Duchesses, and other titled roles. Dressed in lavish costumes and presented in a formal ceremony, the Court brings tradition, elegance, and excitement to the night. It's a time-honored way of recognizing outstanding members of the community and kicking off the celebration with flair!
